Having landed in Warsaw just about an hour ago – one of the first things I noticed was a large amount of women (of all different ages) sporting extremely vibrant, fiery red hair!
Now, there is no question that this particular shade of red is dyed, but what is interesting is the following statement that I found after doing a quick Google search on the topic:
“Red hair is seen on the heads of only four percent of people. …. In Poland, if you pass three red-heads you’ll win the state lottery” (I’m not keeping my fingers crossed – I don’t play- except for the rare occasion I happen to splurge a buck or two on a scratch off – just for fun).
Rarity is always a thing of beauty and in Poland, most women are blonde…that’s why this year, the hottest hair colors in Poland are deep shades of brown, deep plums, mahogany, bright red and shades of auburn!
Seeing Red
I am told that in the past (going back quite some time), women who had darker shades of hair were typically gypsies or some other outside member of society…while these women were intriguing to many, they were also feared by many for their suspected, thieving and pagan lifestyle (90% of Poland is still Roman Catholic).

If you’re weary, it may not be from what you’re doing. Your weariness could be caused by what you continue to put off doing.
Having an uncompleted task hanging over you, day after day, week after week, wears on you constantly. To free yourself from that burden, go ahead and get it finished.
Instead of putting your energy into worry and avoidance and procrastination, put your energy into getting the job done. The way to have more energy is to make productive use of the energy you have.
Making it happen
This day will soon come to an end, no matter what you do. You have the choice of feeling satisfied with all you’ve accomplished, or disappointed that another day has passed without anything to show for it.
Choose to make good and valuable use of the time you now have. Decide to free yourself from the burden of what needs to be done by actually getting it done.
Imagine the satisfaction you’ll feel, and imagine the new options you’ll have. Now get busy and enjoy making it happen.

My passport expired a few months ago so I had to head into the Passport Office and have mine renewed! 2 days and about 5 hours later, I have my new one in hand and am ready to go! So excited!!!! (I’m told there will be wind surfing – Yay!*;-)

How cool is this? I loved watching Cyndi on last season’s The Apprentice with Donald Trump – I’ll admit her quirkiness was definitely over the top! I think it is just fantastic to see these two ladies pose together for this MAC Viva Glam Photo shoot!!!
