Ok, I have been complaining for quite some time now that I miss having Gwen Stefani in the music circuit. Gwen is an amazing artist and fashion wise, I have always respected Gwen’s unique sensibility. Until now. For anyone who caught this morning’s episode of ‘The Today Show’ you would have seen the band together again, looking rather, well… childishly ensembled. They went back to No Doubt, like all the way back, abandoning all rational grown up fashions for their old school ska gear. Its like going to your high school reunion wearing clothes you actually dug up and actually wore when you were in high school. Its just wrong; all wrong!

Now don’t get me wrong, I am excited that the team has regrouped and I think that their 2009 tour is going to be awesome, I just really hope that they abandon the retro ska fashion in lieu of something a bit more Gwen Glam.

As for Gwen’s family? Well for the first time the band will be traveling in seperate busses so that Gwen can tow along the fam and necessary nanny crew. Now THAT should be interesting. I wonder how little Kingston and Zuma will take to their new surroundings?

In addition for prepping for their upcoming tour, No Doubt is also making a guest appearance on the CW’s Gossip Girl which airs May 11th.
